The pub, owned and run by Jason and Lucy Hazeldine-Cowan, is a traditional old English style venue complete with open fires in winter.The pub was once two cottages. The wife of the carpenter that lived there brewed beer and sold it to locals and travellers. Such was the success that she then opened up her home as a guest house, and thus the Carpenter's Arms was born.In the summer months, take advantage of the attractive outdoor area which features a patio with locally made oak furniture under a beautiful handcrafted pergoda.
