Award winning, 4* Gold, bed and breakfast Avalon Lodge is ideally situated for visiting all of Wiltshire's attractions or for business people visiting Devizes. We provide large comfortable bedrooms with king sized beds, Hotel quality mattresses, Egyptian cotton sheets and Dorma throws to guarantee a good night's sleep. Bathrooms are en-suite and have powerful showers, with plenty of hot water, cosy dressing gowns and quality white fluffy bath sheets. In each room there are comfy chairs, coffee table, 32" flat screen TV/DVD player, radio alarm clock with IPod docking station, drink making facilities and a silent, fully stocked fridge. There is a microwave for guests, a DVD library, an exclusive guest lounge with maps, guide books, novels and games. There is ample, safe, off road parking, free Wi-Fi throughout the building and a large south facing garden for the use of guests, although it may be shared with our free range hens. Within walking distance there are two pubs, serving good food as well as the locally renowned Rowdey Cow Farm cafe and Ice Cream parlour. The magnificent Caen Hill locks are a short walk away as is the market town of Devizes with its many independent shops, Wadworth Brewery (and tours) and award winning Wiltshire museum.
