Owen was employed by Wiltshire Constabulary from 1990 to 2001 where he was involved with various levels of training needs analysis. Setting up of the Self Defence Training Department was only one of the successes. In earlier years he was awarded the British Empire Medal (BEM) by Queen Elizabeth II for his service to sport, charities, local community and the Armed Forces whilst in Maidstone.Kathy Smorthit is responsible for the office management, financial and secretarial roles. She also runs two other successful businesses in her own right. Flexibility is the key to most businesses operating effectively. We work with our customers to ensure minimum disruption to work schedules and can train staff to fit in with their shift patterns.
