Green Man Stove Warming your Hearth and Soul
For 15 years families have trusted Green Man Stoves to line their chimney and install a solid fuel or woodburning stove. We are members of NACE (National Association of Chimney Engineers) and HETAS. We don't use sub contractors, our installers are employed and trained really well. It's worth knowing that a HETAS installer CANNOT legally sign off on any fireplace alterations - this must be done through Building Control with whom Green Man have a partnership through NACE. It's also useful to know that a HETAS installer has been trained to carry out compliant work. It doesn't mean any guarantees are in place or that the installer has the right insurances. It's worth checking these out. Green Man also do a lot of detailed chimney CCTV camera inspections. Chimneys and solid fuel appliances are not included in a standard Home Buyer's Report - If you've just moved in and want to be sure your chimney and stove is safe, if you're selling your property and want to prove everything is safe, if you need to make an insurance claim - a CCTV inspection report is what you need. If you want to have a stove and chimney liner in your home, a camera inspection is a must - it gives you a full audit trail and the knowledge that you can safely install a stove before you start - or not! Green Man Stoves recommend stoves already compliant to the new Clean Air Directive legislation with reduced polluting emissions. This is great, but it also means they achieve better fuel combustion (more heat for your £), they're controllable and their glass stays clear. Green Man will let you worry about which book to read with your hot chocolate, instead of whether your family is safe from fire and carbon monoxide and if your installation is legal and insurable! Green Man Stoves is based in Ross on Wye Give us a call on 01989 218328, or pop round to our fabulously warm and cosy showroom and let us help you legally and safely warm your hearth and soul!
