Schools Education Sessions
Deep Sea World invites you to take the plunge and dive to the new exciting depths our Education Product has reached! With classes from Pre-school to Secondary there is something to inspire every growing mind. Each class is based on the Scottish Curriculum for Excellence and includes interactive demonstrations, games and even getting some close encounters with our creatures to help learn more about the marine environment and all the creatures that call it home. All classes follow the same structure: 1. An interactive ‘Aim’ that highlights the key words and learning objectives for that particular class. 2. A series of interactive games and demonstrations that require the children to work together and also put forward their own ideas. 3. The chance to come face to face with one of our creatures that we have learnt about (For example: a starfish or shore crab). 4. A review in the form of quick quizzes and active demonstrations of how much they enjoyed their experience.
