Portable Appliance Test
We start with a visual inspection checking for: Damaged flexes Damaged plugs and equipment (overheating, burn marks, discolouration) Correctly wired plugs Correctly rated fuseThen a series of tests (depending on the class of equipment), they may include: Earth continuity testing Insulation resistance Polarity test Earth leakage testA full report and certificate are emailed to you upon completion of the job.Prices Under 50 tests - £60.00 Upto 250 tests - £1.00 per item Upto 500 tests - 90p per item 500 + tests - 80p per item.We will replace fuses and rewire plugs if necessary to ensure the item can pass the test. These types of fixes are included in the test price. Plugs and other items will be charged, but only after consent from the customer.
