The brand new Fiat 500 is based on the iconic 60’s original and styled as a ‘classic reborn’. It was this pedigree and distinctive look that convinced Mark to add his name to the extensive waiting list and take delivery of one of the first Fiat 500’s delivered to the UK . As Mark explained, “I’m very much involved in a style-led business and felt the combination of classic styling and up-to-the-minute technology was a perfect fit for both me and The Kitchen Designer business. Not only does the car look fantastic – an updated take on a classic design – but it has all the 21st century gadgets and gizmos you could hope for. In fact, it’s an awful like some of our kitchen designs in that respect. There’s even room for a kitchen unit in the boot!” And like Mark’s business, the Fiat is also top of its class when it comes to green credentials, something that it’s new owner was keen to ensure. “We cover a lot of miles visiting client’s homes so it was important to me to ensure the environmental impact of all that travelling was as small as possible.” , he added. The Fiat meets and exceeds even the most stringent Euro ratings and its soon to be launched Eco-Drive, assesses how you drive and downloads it onto a memory stick. You can simply pop it into your PC and see your emission levels and get tips on how to reduce them. Unfortunately, kitchen design hasn’t come quite that far yet but in style terms Mark hopes to keep delivering timeless design and effortless style, on a par with his new toy.
