Jewels and Desires offers stunning & unique handmade gemstone jewellery with a classic design, specialising in semi-precious gemstones, lustrous pearls & sparkling crystal. Many of the designs are 'one-off' so customers can be happy in the knowledge that they own something that is unique. Established in 2008, the business is based in New Hutton (Kendal). Each piece of bespoke jewellery is designed and made by Julie Parker using gemstones and pearls from all over the world, Swarovski crystals also give her jewellery that extra sparkle. Jewels and Desires online shop allows customers to browse at their leisure and buy with confidence. All the jewellery comes beautifully boxed and makes the ideal present. The business is owned by Julie Parker who has been focusing on Jewellery Design for several years. Having previously worked as a Freshwater Biologist she now works part-time for a busy garden centre which gives her the opportunity to create and market her own jewellery designs.
