Young Tree Pollard
Back in October 2013, i was called by my Dentist to Reduce and Cut back a few Small - Medium Tree's, as he was worried the Tree's would get carried away with themselves and grow too big, thus Reducing the amount of Light into the House/Garden. The best plan of action was to Pollard them, as they were Small/Young enough to cope with the stress of such initial drastic pruning. I had left a few Young branches on the Tree's so they would produce Leaves and thus provide Food/Oxygen for the Tree's to aid Recovery etc. I will go back to the Garden in the Spring/Summer of 2014 to see how the Tree's have progressed and to check on the overall health of the Tree's..
