I have low cost and concessionary appointments, which are available upon request. Block bookings for a series of sessions are also available with discount. There will be an additional fuel cost for home visits which is dependent on location. My Counselling Service: I am a Person-Centred Counsellor, which basically means that I am client lead. I provide the time and space for you to off-load, discuss and explore your thoughts, feelings or situations. I believe that we can work out problems and anxieties, no matter how 'stuck' we can feel, just through the simple act of being listened to without judgement. Counselling is a relationship where we can work together to acknowledge the issues that you wish to understand and resolve. I have many years' experience working in Youth Service, Homeless and Resettlement Programmes and working overseas with Non-Governmental Organisations prior to working as a Counsellor. I have experienced the life changes and relationship challenges that illness, disability and caring can bring. I have also worked professionally for many years with those affected by addictions, low self-esteem and destructive behaviour. I also like helping with couples and families with communication issues and misunderstandings between each other. Mediation can enhance empathy and self-worth through learning how to rationalise and interpret our own and others' emotions, words and actions.
