Eco Friendly Dog Bowls
The Beco Bowl is a new pet feeding dish with some very interesting concepts!Made from a unique plant fibre material, the Eco Friendly Beco Bowls are very special. These innovative pet bowls are made from waste plant fibres, making them extremely sustainable and biodegradable. The fibre material is very strong, equalling tough plastic. The bowl can be cleaned very easily and can even be put in the dishwasher, making them very hygienic. The innovative waving rim of the Beco Bowl makes it easy for your dog to reach the bottom of the bowl. The waving edge will allow your pet's chin to sit comfortably in the groove ergonomically. The Beco Bowl can be used for both food and water. Let's explore the life cycle of the Beco Bowl:The bowls start their life as bamboo and rice husks in a farmers field. When the farmer harvests the crops, the left over 'waste plant fibres' are collected together to prevent any waste which would otherwise remain unused and will be wasted. Bamboo is a breed of grass that grows very quickly, this helps to keep up sustainability.Using a special process, the natural plant fibres are ground into a fine powder and mixed with a biodegradable resin, made from amino acids; it is the special resin that holds together the natural powder and creates a strong finish. Around 80% of the bowl's mix is from the natural bamboo and husk. The mix is then poured into a hot mould and pressed into the interesting and stylish Beco Bowl. The bowls are left to cool and your new pet bowl is finished! When you no longer want to use the Beco Bowl, it can be placed on a compost heap or buried. Because of the formulation of the Beco Bowl mix, the feeding dish can easily break down. When exposed to the damp, warm conditions on this constant basis, the Beco Bowl will biodegrade fully within 2 to 3 years, meaning that there is no damage to the environment and the pet bowl has served well. The bowls come in 3 sizes; Small, Medium & Large and in 5 colours; Natural, Blue, Brown, Green and Pink.Approximate Dimension are as follows:-Small 17cm diameter, capacity 0.50 litresMedium 21cm diameter, capacity 0.75 litresLarge 26cm diameter, capacity 1.50 litres
