Amaranth Counselling is committed to providing a safe, confidential and non-judgemental environment where you can explore the issues that are impacting your life.Before training as a counsellor Mary worked as a research scientist at Edinburgh University.After gaining her PhD in Genetics she moved to Edinburgh where she worked in the field of Genetics and cancer research. She's also a qualified teacher of biology and currently lecture part time at a further education college in Edinburgh. She's now operate a private counselling practice in Cockenzie, East Lothian. She live with her partner and their two dogs in Cockenzie and her hobbies include walking the dogs, music and photography.
