I’m Nigel Spaven, professional freelance illustrator of 26 years’ experience. I produce original illustration to compliment your project and bring your ideas to life; whether for educational purposes, training, information, advertising - or just for fun! I’ve produced illustration for numerous organisations, schools, the business community, a national educational programme for children (BLAST programme), occupational H&S campaigns for utility services and construction industries, where visual communication is vital in overcoming literacy and language barriers. I thoroughly enjoy the creative journey with clients; from developing ideas and draft sketches, through to the final artwork. From simple cartoon drawings to detailed illustration and fine art, using traditional art mediums or as digital art. All work is of the highest quality.

Previously employed for 20 years as a graphic designer in the printing industry, working closely with clients to create informative visual solutions for all manner of printed material from posters to brochures, advertisements and marketing campaigns.
