Active 8 Care is a flexible and mobile resource created by Nationwide Child Care. The scheme uses outdoor activities as the basis for engaging young people with challenging behaviour. To achieve mobility we use 3 specially adapted Land Rovers and stay in a variety of accommodation options including tents, bothys, camping barns, narrow boats, caravans, youth hostels and other rented accommodation as appropriate. All accommodation options are rigorously assessed in terms of safety and appropriateness
