Flexi™-Pave
A patented porous construction surfacing product, developed 15 years ago in the USA as an alternative to traditional non-porous paving products.The objective was to help alleviate storm water management issues and reduce disposal of tyres in global landfills and incinerators. The product consists of rubber granules, aggregate and a unique resin binder. The system utilises recycled passenger tyres and is now proven to greatly improve water quality too, reducing nitrates by 83% and phosphates by 88%.SUDS (Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems) has prompted the need for more creative ways to harvest our water and prevent flooding.
