LAPD was formed in 1994, by a group of disabled people in order to encourage, support and assist disabled people to make changes, both in their personal lives and in their communities, that enable them to live their lives to the full We believe that we can change inequality by breaking down barriers whether they are social or physical and we do this by challenging access We are working with Regional Equality and Diversity Partnership, SHINE, NHS, Lincolnshire County Council, Boston Council, New Link, Lincolnshire Accessibility, Fall Prevention, Link, and we have a voice at their meetings Helping them to get involved with their local communities, by referring requests for advice, help to our local members
