Scrap Metal
A large pre-compression shear handles the processing of bulky ferrous metals into products suitable for recycling at steel works, balling light items such as cars etc. and shearing the heavier material. Non-ferrous metals such as brass, copper, aluminium and lead etc. are also processed on site, this includes cropping balling and grading before transporting to smelters for recycling. Our 40 tonne electronic weigh bridge and modern scrap handling equipment including cranes equipped with magnets or grabs enables us to handle most grades of scrap metal efficiently and safely.
