The Tanyard Youth Project exists to provide an excellent standard of facilities, activities and services for all young people in a safe, welcoming and educational environment in order to enable them to develop physically, mentally and spiritually; becoming in turn, mature members of society and positive citizens of the community. The Tanyard is open to young people four days a week, and as well as recreational activities we also offer accreditation through the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme, confidential advice and counselling At the Tanyard we believe that if you engage well with us on a project you should be rewarded, and be able to gain accreditation or recognized certificates for your hard work
