By October 1997 it was clear that there was a need in the market for an independent advisory and consultancy firm to assist companies in areas where their brokers were unable or unwilling to work, and so they formed Gibbs Laidler We have produced two guides for the NHF and Housing Corporation, and we are now also involved in Housing PFI insurances, where our independence and special relationships in the housing insurance market are invaluable to our clients There have been a number of changes in the structure of the business, but the essential operation has always been the same, and we have a proven track record of providing valuable assistance to businesses in many sectors, particularly perhaps social landlords, when confronted by the complexities of insurance and risk issues
