Little Tricks are British Gymnastics affiliated and provide play gym and preschool gymnastics for your little gymnasts up to school age. Our playgym sessions are aimed at children aged 1 to 2½ years and our Preschool sessions are for children from 2½ to 5 years (or until they have started school). Play Gym Our ‘free play’ parent/carer and toddler sessions are designed for children aged up to 2½ years old. Sessions are led by our British Gymnastics qualified coaches and involve basic gymnastics, colourful soft play and pre-school equipment as well as various hand apparatus to keep them occupied. It doesn’t matter if your child hasn’t quite grasped the art of walking yet as we welcome crawlers/climbers. Sessions are an opportunity for children to ‘let off steam’ while having fun and learning to improve their movement, co-ordination and confidence, as well as a great way to interact with others. A perfect way to ease them into our pre-school gymnastics classes. PreSchool Our 'Pre-school' classes are themed and structured gymnastics sessions for children aged 2½ to 5 or until they have started school. Children learn gymnastics skills, working towards and gaining British Gymnastics Proficiency awards. Each session is themed and is designed to develop confidence, co-ordination, agility, balance, movement skills and independence. Children use the apparatus alongside our coaches, enhancing their social, physical and educational development. Sessions are independent from their parent/carer and are run by our British Gymnastics qualified coaches.
